Hi there,

I am thinking of hardwiring my NextBase dashcam inside my 2010 Active Eco Fiat Panda and was wondering which fuses people have used to supply it? I have read in the user manual that the cigarette lighter fuse is in the engine bay and don't quite know how to get to it from the inside to run the cable through.

Does anyone have any advice to how they have fitted it?

I just spliced into the cigarette lighter wiring in the centre console on my girlfriends 100hp.

I then ran the wire under the passenger side carpet, up the A pillar and tucked the cable in the front edge of the headlining. The connector comes out near the rear view mirror. Nice neat job and was easy to do.

have a look under the roof interior light there usually a unused connector (possibly sun roof) thats switched with the ignition

be interesting to see if its still there on an eco

They did finely deleted the unused speed sensor which hasnt been used for over 5 years

I wired my nextbase into the fuse next to the obd port (fusebox panel next to steering) very easy with the hardwire kit piggy back fuse.

Do you know the specific fuse by any chance?
F31 it's a 5 amp mini fuse for the reversing lights, which is almost level with the bottom of the OBD port.
If you buy the nextbase hardwire kit it has the standard blade fuse and the mini blade fuse versions, basically remove the 5 amp fuse, fit it in the spare slot off the mini piggyback and plug the piggyback in where the 5 amp fuse was.
very easy
