Les, its the daft new system we have over here to replace the letter prefix, number plates now look like 'YA53XXX', this is mine, except the last three letters aren't xxx I just don't wanna publish it wish peeps like 'Gaz wots his face' about.

It begin in Sept 01 with the no 51, and then march 02 with the no 02.

So mine is Sept 03 onwards.

Its a bit of a brag by me really :I

Stilo 1.4 Active in black....

She wants the windows tinting too plus I said I'd put 17in wheels on it for her too!! (Not sure about which wheels yet but either the claw effect or the multi spoke ones)

Can you get lowering springs for the Stilo yet? Do Eibach do em?

Hi

Yes I lowered mine with Eibach 30mm drop springs, but to be honest you'd never know it had been lowered, it looks the way it should have come out of the factory now, there is still a gap between tyre and wheel arch, so no, no boy-racer thing going on there James!

If you want some I got a great deal, they retail at £135 I got them for £90 if I remember correctly including postage!

Anyway,the size of the exhaust doesn't determine how fast a car will go!! lol
When I had my Uno Turbo (Mk2) that had a four inch tail pipe (The scoob is 3 in)
In fact,my uno was featured in the pages of Max Power in the days when it was a car mag as opposed to a semi top shelfer as it is now!! lol (Not sure being in Max Power is something to brag about though)

Make sure you got a fat wallet if you buy one though cos they cost a fortune if you wanna buy performance parts for them!!
That's the nice thing with Fiats,the parts are cheap and readily available (Although perhaps not as available as Ford bits)

Can you drop me an email to [email protected] with details of where you got the springs etc? Did you notice any deterioration in ride comfort after having them fitted? (Normally Eibach springs are quite soft by design anyway so you shouldn't notice much of a difference)
What wheels do you run? 17's?
Would be interested to see a pic if you have any?

Scoobies are undeniably an awesome driving tool, just difficult to be passionate about IMO, but everyone has there tastes, personally when I graduate the new Alfa GT is looking like a favourite
