you wont regret buying the JTD :D

its only group 5 insurance.... i found my JTD cheaper to insure then most petrol cars with tiny engines :)

they are looking quite expsive tho... around the £3000+ region.. or am i looking in the wrong places?

Thanks

nice car it is mate, it's over here in northern ireland, but you can pick them up for peanuts over here and drive back take the boat. only cost you £20 for flight, £100 for boat and then petrol. get the owner to meet you @ the airport, thats what i do when i'm coming over to the mainland for cars.

take a look at this Scotty

@bozzy think whatever you want, i really dont care as i said above i'm tryin to tell Scotty about my experiences with my 1.2.

Appreciate that fella but I am also offering my experiences with two Stilo's and five years of ownership. And although I loved my Stilo's there isn't a single one on the planet that will p1$$ over my Clio in any situation.

thats all they are worth mate, a 1.2 went through the auction here on monday night and only made £1000, very clean one too, 3 door, grey 65k miles on it. taxed and tested

i better start earning some money then :) anyone got any jobs i could do ?? hahah

^^^^^ cheap ^^^^^
needs a gearbox.

@bozzy well i dont race anymore them few races i've had was about 2 years ago, i've had to many friends killed in car accidents this 2 years down to speed, my stilo is absolutely brilliant through the corners, nothin like my Focus ST mind you its just unreal. i use my stilo everyday and have the focus for the weekends.

worth a try mate, i would take any car as PX just wouldnt give a great price on it, always easy to break them

Yeah true... ill just take a look at the insurance on it and see how it goes.. and have a chat with the parents..... but there answer is a most certain NO! haha

Your annual insurance quote £1,311.45

not too bad... but could be alot worse....

anyone know any cheap car insurance companys?

Thanks

The fact that your Clio is French and the Stilo isn't already has the Stilo miles ahead ;)

In fairness neither this Clio or my Megane which I had for just over a year developed a single fault. My two Stilo's and two Punto's would have reported multiple faults in that time. Whilst I love my Fiat's (and I still have a Punto) their reliability is way behind Renault's in my own experience. One thing for sure, the dealer experience via Renault although not fantastic is a country mile ahead of anything I witnessed by Fiat. If I could find a decent Stilo JTD I'd have it tomorrow.
