Dear friends,

I recently installed in my Stilo, a ConnectNav unit of the version 9.8. However, I realised that in order to modify its parameters, i.e. date, time, language etc, it requires a setup CD. I did a research online but unfortunately could not find any results, while few links I checked here in the forum, to download an .iso file, seem not to work anymore. Could you please tell me where can in find an .iso file (or a CD) for that version to download?

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Davren, as I would also like to upgrade my Radio/CD to something better with ideally satnav, what exactly does the Setup CD actually do ?, and is it for any make unit, or just the original Stilo one ?,

Ta
The Setup CD is used to change the date, time and language etc. of the unit. It's only suitable for use with the Connect Nav units.

Hi Davren,

I’m reaching out to you again for advice. I downloaded the setup files and burned them to a CD. However, after inserting the CD, the CN unit doesn't seem to recognize or read it. I tried updating the language, time, etc., but it didn't work. To troubleshoot, I tested the unit with a music CD, as well as with the update drive to v.11 (which I also downloaded from the forum here and burned to a CD from the same device). Both worked fine. I’ve compared the files on the ISO image and the CD, and everything looks the same. I even created 2-3 additional CDs, but the issue persists.

Do you have any idea what might be causing the CN unit to not recognize the setup CD? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and regards,
Lone
