I am writing you from Turkey. My car is a 2015 model 0.9 TwinAir Panda (86K kilometer).

For the last two years, some days when I start the car, I hear the sound I shared for a few minutes, (similar to the sound of driving in reverse gear), sometimes the sound gets louder and the battery malfunction light turns on, there is a smell of burning wires. It's like there's no problem when there's no sound. I took it to the Fiat service, to my own mechanic, and no one could find the reason. It was said that there was no turbo failure or battery failure, but I wanted to share it in case anyone has similar experiences as I will be going on a long journey.

Help please! :)

Faulty air conditioning compressor/compressor clutch?
Turn air conditioning off see if noise goes away.
Alternator starting to fail?
Auxiliary drive belt tensioner Or idler wheel starting to fail?
Or other component driven by auxiliary drive belt?

If the auxiliary belt looks in poor condition like it's got too hot /partly melted then the issue is something driven by belt

This is how my alternator sounded before it gave up and the smell of burning wires.
I also found my car tried to stall occasionally when driving
