i have just installed a rev counter into a mk1 punto, and it works fine, however the battery and oil light now no longer come on when the car ignition is turned on. they used to come on with the ignition and turn off when the car was started?

Firstly how did you wire your rev counter...need more details.

wired it in like the guide said, through the bluw wire on the ECU

dont know exactly what you did, but you should undo it before it f*cks anything else up as things could get very expencive.,.,.,
