Hello.. I bought a stebel compact air horn and fitted it to my punto day. I took the old horn right out and simply plugged the connectors to the new
horn and bolted it down (without the relay). I was told there was no need for it.

My MOT is due soon and I was wondering if this would cause any problems?

aslong as its not a musical one it'll pass the mot, i have a nautilus airhorn and it passed the mot

Thats good to here then. So you took the old horn out and pugged the -ve and +ve wires straight in to the new horn?

yep no relay needed

i got mine in, wired to a seperate button so i have the choice, make me seen to the little old lady, or deafen the wnkr who is shoutin and cuttin me up....
edit: nd yes MOT friendly, passed no problems...

This post reminds me, I have a loud air horn which I purchased years ago for a camper van I had but I never fitted it.

I`ll have to dig it out of the garage and fit it to my GP :slayer:
