Hi

I have a Mk 3 Punto (54 plate) and the interior fan squeaks like mad at fan setting 1 and 2. Suspect the bearings in the fan are at fault. Is anyone able to tell me where the fan is located under the dash board?

Also is it possible to just replace the bearings or will the whole fan assembly have to be replaced.

i think you have to replace the fan, but iirc it's an easy job and i can't imagine a fan is expensive

so is the one on my Mk1

mine has leaves in it

it rattles intermittently

but i really cant be bothered to get them out at the mo

maybe in the new year
