Hi all, just a real quick question...

I've got a 2006 1.1 panda active. Does anyone know if it is fuel injected? I'm just interested to see how it works and whether I can squeeze any more power out of it, never had a slower vehicle in my life, which is a shame because it's fun to drive.

TIA people

Yes every car is fuel injected these days (I think). (y)

Can’t remember any Fiat which wasn’t since about 1992 when catalysts were put on. The injection was needed to make up for the catalysts strangling the engines - progress......

There doesn't seem to be much of a market for tuning kit for the 1.1
You can get it chipped which will extract about 5bhp more but economically the cheapest way to get more power out of it is probably to sell it and buy a 1.2.

The 1.2 makes about 5bhp more than the 1.1.

If you want more power get the diesel and have it remapped. But watch for the clutch slipping as the same one is used across the range. Those with DMF flywheels can be very expenisve.

The 100HP is quicker if you can put up with the harsh ride.

If its still too slow you should not be driving a Panda.
