Hi all, my sisters 2003 1.2 Panda Extravaganza heating system has been working fine, but she’s just had a new battery fitted and now gets no heat whatsoever. I’ve been googling to find an answer, a lot seems to point to resetting the heating computer (it’s all push buttons) and or the heater flap accentuation (might have that name wrong) but I can’t find any instructions. Is anyone able to help? Thanks

Make 100% sure you engine has the correct coolant level. If that's OK have a look at the 100HP heater threads as that has the same system as your car.

The reset procedure goes something like this : switch on ignition and then hold auto and windscreen defrost buttons until the temp reading counts down, then leave it to check itself, no more than 30 seconds. Could be the heater flap pin is broken, I've a fix for that too if I manage to upload photos.

If you are still in trouble, see my post under "100hp heater playing tricks on me... Help!" My car is actually an Eleganza which has the same climate system.

SORTED-sort of

Found that switching the ignition on, turning fan to max and pressing the air recirculating button activates the servo in the footwell, then heating works just fine on any setting.

Bizarre but it works everytime now.
