Got a new panda in April, am i right in thinking theres anti freeze in the radiator as standard?

How old is your car? My Corsa had the original stuff in, as a result of the lack of corrosion protection in the coolant and the head gasket went, I suspect this was the cause.

Always change the coolant when its due to be changed. If you're unsure I would change it. As the years pass the corrosion protection in the coolant stops working and things inside your engine can rust.

OP says car was new in April

He didn't say it was brand new, just that it was new to him :)

"I bought a new car" to me doesn't automatically mean 'new'.

Seem clear cut to me it's new. Would have said use or just Panda if not new I'd have thought, and equally if it isn't new then no-one is to know if it's the correct coolant in it.
