If so this is the "Generic Failure Indication" and some of it's warnigs are linked to a beep, which might explain the radio going off. There are a few reasons this warning is triggered. Exceeding a set speed limit (if you car has the function and it's set) Fuel cut off fault. Stop/start system fault (if fitted) City Brake control system fault (if fitted) Parking sensor fault (if fitted) Oil pressure sensor failure Water in diesel filter (if it's a diesel) But perhaps the biggest reason is the system monitors the lighting system and warns of things like blown bulbs. It self tests the circuits when active for the correct current draw so will only flag up a fault when that circuit is active/on, so a blown brake light bulb will only throw a warning when the brake pedel is pressed. The warning will stay on until you switch the ignition off and back on, this will reset the system until you press the brake pedal again and the warning will return. As it seems to effect the indicators, you might have a blown bulb or dodgy connection on that circuit, so it's worth checking all the lights work when they should, including all the indicators. (it's worth noting this warning system doesn't take well to aftermarket LED bulbs as they don't draw enough power to complete the test so the system thinks there's a blown bulb) I've had a blown indicator bulb and I seem to remember the indicators "tick" disappearing, the one's that weren't blown flashed but the "tick" was silenced.
