Can we not have a sticky at the top of this thread for known re occurring faults?
It could prompt proactive action by owners to look for evidence of failure before it happens.

(Ensure 'child locks' are disabled as a precaution)

Blocked 'Duckbill' scuttle drains

Creaking dashboard

Squeaking rear disc brakes

Tailgate release button - pad

DRL lighting issues

4x4 propshafts
Twinair servicing
Multijet DPF

Thermostat housing breaks where the heater pipe comes out. £35 for the housing easy fix unless youve cooked your engine.
Maybe the heater hose needs additional support with a cable tie....

Tail gate release becomes unreliable, especially if you live in a dusty environment. I'm on lock no.3. Rivetted together, WD40 etc does not help. Buy another lock.

Upper rear shock top void bushes fail easily. After market items are full bushes, ever lasting.

DRL burnt contacts with filement bulbs and failures. LED's fitted, no problems since.

As a STICKY isn't it supposed to stay at the top of the page?
