Hi, just purchased A18XDM for my private registration although i need it to be spaced as A18X D M as my names Alex Dale Mitchell, this is illegal apparantly and shops wont do it for me so im after a place that will, seen a few on the net although just wondering if anyone has anyone to suggest?
Cheers Alex

I think it does look similar to ALEX and he has pulled it off well, i used GTgrafix and i am happy with their service they provided. they can make 'show' plates, so if you did want to space the D and the M you could, but tbh it aint worth it. As stated the fine is too much for that one little spacing.

Not hinting you should but u could put the screw fixing on the 8 to make it an E but this is still illegal.

End of the Day you know what the plate means as thats why its PERSONALised plate. I got mine as it meant something to me and still does but at min looking at a different plate :)

ahhh...
and to think I know someone with the personalised plate "A1EX", as I pointed out, he makes a very good 'ex'.

Our personalised plates are a free selection of up to 6 numbers/letters including the space. Depending on the width of the letters, you can even opt for half-spaces! I have no idea why English plates have to be 'actual' registrations. It certainly ruins the possibilities!

Some plates that I was considering: ALFALX (to put on my 164) and FIATLX (to go on the Uno). Both are still available. Each costs $500 (about 200 pounds) which is a sheer waste of money really! :)

Plates are considered 'investments' by the advertisers (from time to time) - yet on Trademe recently I saw "MY ALFA" come up for sale, for just $200 - bargain really, I suppose I should've bought it.

There are of course much more clever plates around, like L82AD8 (springs to mind). There's an Uno around locally, if I remember correctly, with 'MY UNO'.
