I used them once in about 1996 when I needed a front pipe on my Panda. They broke the manifold getting it apart and paid for a new one. They fitted the new manifold without a gasket and when I ponted out their mistake, the manager said to me "We don't usually bother fitting a gasket". It got sorted in the end.

I don't think quick matters that much compared to quality.

Like an any franchise it can be very branch specific, there was one I used for tyres as they would match the online prices and weren't staffed by 17 year old parolees.

But when the exhaust fell off the micra at 5 pm on the Saturday of a bank holiday weekend and it was due in Scotland on monday we used a random KF that was open. That was awful, the part they fitted was awful, it barely lasted 3 years, made the car sound like it had a cherry bomb in it...a micra with pop and crackle... had no back pressure so performance suffered, I actually took it back and was told its just because there are no carbon deposits in this one it'll sound different until the build up. That **** cost twice as much as when we had it replaced again at our local garage with a much better pattern exhaust.

When the KF exhaust dissolved after 20k miles, it got another pattern part and went back to how it was before or at least much closer.

I missed the KF one, there was a sense of mischief to driving to an entirely stock micra, that had a proper Bwaaaaaaap! when accelerating exhaust note and could be made to pop and bang on the over run if you heel and toed on the way down. The looks of confusion it used to get...

nice n easy, also pointed out i have some bad bushes on the back suspension that need changing in next year.

only done 70k car should't be having all this work done.

rubber parts AGE, as well as wear + tear,;)
an urban car subjected to speed humps will wear suspension far quicker than a m-way cruiser..,
