Just wondered if anyone has any tips or advice to help me pass my driving test on friday, (03:27 so the roads are gonna be heaving.) ah well !!

That could be a good time, pull out of test centre, get stuck in a jam, pull back into test centre

Good luck anyway, any hints or tips I have are long forgotten, passed way back in 1989.

a good tip is dont wear a jumper! t shirt all the way unless ud b sweatin buckets! i remeber my first test was in a jumper n came out of it soaked!

and also jus keep ur head and dont panic!

The only tip you can be given is try your best - you know your stuff otherwise you wouldnt be having your test - just try to keep calm and good luck

Best advice I can give is take your time with things. There's no rush. And think about annoying little things your instructor used to say. that'll help you remember things to do

Really... I would just ignore any last minute advice, and just go do it!!

It's just about showing him / her you're confident in driving a car [but feel free to ignore that too] hah.

Good Luck, as sei said take ur time and make sure u r doing the right thing.

Don't speed, Don't get too close to the car in front, and be careful about hesitating! That's what was suggested to me. It worked. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

dont look at the examiners marking sheet all the time

listen to the examiner

and look both ways at a roundabout, i never did that on my test, i just used to look right, the correct way

Oh yep! Make sure you use your mirrors, and indicators. They are hot on that kind of thing!

One good tip is adjust top mirror so you have to look up slightly more than usuall so its more obvious your checking your mirror . Good LUCK! . My test is sept02 at 13:33 i think.

its all down to luck mate and what mood the examiner is in, i know some people who realy fuked up thier test and got passed.

You presume right lol i aint figured out how to build a time machine..... Yet! .

try not to think that the examiner is really testing you try and imagine that your just driving with your instructor, try not to think about it too much rember M.S.M tho. Good luck

Good luck Panda Power! I am still embarasingly close enoughto my test to remember hints and tips. First off you now have to do the 'car maintenance' stuff so make sure your instructor has shown you the relevant parts of the engine and how to check everything is working. Mirrors are really important, so make sure it's obvious you are looking at them. Remember it's not the situations that hit you, it's how you deal with them that counts so if you stall or something just relax, switch the car back on and continue on your way. Remember to take all your paperwork with you! And last but not least my pharmaceutical advice: Bach rescue remedy or Kalms are good for relaxing and won't make you sleepy, Beta blockers are better if you can find a supply, or get to see your GP for a prescription.
