Fabric shampoo

‘Fabric Shampoo’:

So after another online reviewer mentioned that they used a fabric shampoo with success I decided to buy a can of ‘car plan’ fabric shampoo foam spray with an attached tough brush to work the foam in. this smelt of citrus (quite nice in a kitchen cleaner way) and gave a good spread of foam over seats etc when sprayed. After being worked into the surface with the brush it’s allowed to dry and then either left, or vacuumed off – leaving a nice smell in its place.

So I treated all the seats, carpets etc I could do in one go, and the full head liner another day. The brush and foam seemed to clean the seats nicely which was a plus, and it even left the fabric smelling quite nice. The shampoo lasted longer than the fabreeze and I think might be one of the products that contributed mostly….but… the smoke smell was still there in the back ground! No doubt deeper than the foam could reach.

Fabric Shampoo Rating: 6/7 – left the fabric clean and smelling fresh, lasted a while, but background smell of smoke still there.
Cost: £3.50 a can
