hi could one of you clever chaps tell me what the thread is on a 1.2 active wheel bolt ,it seems one of the bolts on my sons car has been crossed threaded and i would like to re tap the thread in the drum.

any help would be grateful .

thanks mike.

google the Vauxhall corsa ones;)

can't you get the pitch from the good bolts..??

AFAIK they are NOT the FIAT standard of M12 x 1.25..

a quick forum search suggests M12 x 1.5 pitch, actually the Standard Metric Coarse thread..

I think all are M12 x 1.25, Take off the hub and put in bolt from the other side to fix threads. May be easier to just get another hub, If a wheel stud has been tightened the full distance cross threaded re taping it will not be a great success. BTW from what you post it appears to be on the rear, the thread in not in the drum it's in the hub the drum bolts onto.
