Well, we've got our new license now
So running a new test of data importing and if all goes ok, the move can go ahead ASAP.

There may be a problem with PM's, so they may not export, however we're trying our best to resolve this...

Also Poll's are playing up, but apart from that, it does...

 

Getting quite a few complaints now about various Snitz bits - tbh i dont think its a host problem, more snitz itself.

I'm therefore looking for an alternative (this is gonna be horrible, i dont even want to imagine the import routines ) - so far vBulletin seems to stick out as one of the...

 

Today i have posted on topics and when it goes back on hone i am signed out - eventhough i look at the active users on the bottom of the page and my name is listed - i feel so unwanted[V]

The FF will be moving to its new server at around 3AM GMT Tomorrow.

So hopefully you won't even notice the change over, but if it does run a bit slower tomorrow, thats cause you're still accessing the old server, but all the data getting dragged from the new one (which will take some time)...

Yes ladies and gentlemen, FiatForum has outgrown its current hosting package and will be moving servers sometime in the next few days.

Hopefully you won't even notice it (maybe a slight speed increase, but we're staying on the same network so wouldn't be major).

Right, i have been speaking to lock wood and i want to see if there is going to be any intrest they are willing to start making dials for the bravo mk2 if i can 25 definate orders, it should cost about £40 for the dials and i think you'll be able to get them in the useual colours, and a choice...

In an effort to conserve bandwidth, I have moved all the images off this server, onto a new box hosted in deep dark denver (no really)

My internet speed here at work is stuffed at the moment, so I'm not able to tell if there is a large speed difference, so if you guys could let me know if all...
