Hello,

I was driving my car couple months back and lost complete power to the car. It turned out the battery terminal came off as I went over a bump.
Since then I've had a glow plug warning message on my dash.
The car has been starting fine and the message disappears after a couple of minutes.

I took my car to the garage for a service and got the plugs changed at the same time thinking this would resolve the issue but it didn't.
The garage advised a new glow plug relay but still getting the same message.

I've used multi ECU scan to check the glow plugs and the tests come back OK but I am getting the attached error codes and the car is now struggling to start first thing of a morning.

Anyone any ideas what I could look at next?

First guess would be to check the wiring for the glow plugs and the glow plug relay make sure none of the wires are broken or damaged

Edit long shot check the fuse for the glow plugs

Hi Chris, with the car eventually starting would the fuse be an issue?

Quite possible if the fuse that feeds the glow plugs isn't working none of the glow plugs will work meaning the car will struggle to start when cold

Ok sound. I'll get the garage to check that tomorrow.

Update on the fix.

The relay was indeed knackered. It blew the new plugs the garage put in. A new relay was fitted after 1st lot of new plugs.
After purchasing more plugs and fitting them this resolved the issue.
