Hi all And Hello to everyone.

I have a 2013 1.2 8v Fiat 500. It recently had the flashing mileage syndrome...I did a scan with my multiecuscan multiplexed tool and I ran a Proxy alignment as it stated in the cansetup/proxy alignment section to align the modules.

The problem I have is no Blue and Me working. When I scan the vehicle modules I have no access to any blue and me modules? When I go into the system/dashboard control module section I have no access to any of what I assume are the Blue and me Modules.

It shows these 3 but I have no connection to any of them.

Convergence Lauberhorn (Blue & me)
Convergence Marelli/Microsoft (Blue and me)
Convergence Marelli/Microsoft C3 (Blue & me)
My instrument panel Module is Marelli so I'm guessing I should be able to access either the 2nd or 3rd option.
Can anyone shed any light as to wether I should be able to access one of those modules?

The Blue and me was not working prior to the Proxy alignment.

The initial scan prior to the proxy alignment showed that the Convergence Telematic Node (CTM) was Removed? I am guessing thats the module for the Blue & me and it has failed hence it states its been classed as 'removed'?

After the Proxy Alignment the Convergence Telematic Node is no longer visable in the list of modules in the can set up section.

I hope that makes some sense to someone and thanks for any help or advise.

Fiat 500 Blue & me module and convergence telematic node.

If you select the wrong one you just need to click on another but if none of them are connecting then it’s not that uncommon for these to fail. You can pick them up on eBay for under £100. I did a guide recently on how to change one, I’ll find the link.

Replace blue & me unit

Re: Fiat 500 Blue & me module and convergence telematic node.

Hi. Many thanks for the reply. I have got it all stripped out, I have ordered a replacement unit.
I was just hoping that I was barking up the correct tree and I can see from your experience I am:) (Hopefully)

Its nice to have these places to turn to for a bit of reference when needed. I thought it strange my multiscan was not picking up the module or pulling it up as a fault.. Hopefully when the new unit arrives it will align and the B & M will start working.
I had read that the reason they fail can be caused by if the battery gets disconnected before the system has had time to shut down it can wipe the programme off one of the chips on the board in the B & M module? This has had a battery change at some point so possibly could be the cause if theres any truth to what I had read about them.
Cheers again.

Never heard that one before but I suppose it’s a possibility. You will have that nail biting proxi alignment to do once installed.

I guess when I connect everything back up and turn on the ignition I should get the flashing mileage again..That would be a good sign I guess as it will tell me it knows there is a new module fitted that's not aligned, then as you say do the alignment and fingers crossed:)

Hopefully that's the way it will pan out (y)
Thanks again.

Yes that’s what should happen. Fingers crossed.

To update on this;

I fitted the replacement B & M module today. No dramas.
The module I fitted had the same CE0678 141 numbers but the part numbers were different, mine were 51944597 and the replacement was 51827410.

I had read that you must fit with a unit of the same numbers or it would not work? Well this has, so obviously it does not have to be a direct like for like.. I had to perform the Proxy alignment as it set the mileage flashing as expected but it has all gone ok.

Thanks for the help from this forum...

Hi everyone,

I've a 2015 Abarth 595 which runs great. About 18 months ago, I had to replace the battery and since then, I've had the flashing odometer, no Blue&Me and a bunch of mechanics trying to fix it.

Firstly a huge thanks to Typecast and also Micky for posting. I've a couple of questions which would really help me -

@Mickychesnuts - you've mentioned a chip that could be replaced opposed to the entire telematics unit. Could you share more details? Isn't available on Amazon anymore and not entirely sure what it's called to search any further

@typecastboy - would you happen to have the part numbers and/ or a picture of the telematics unit itself? I've searched on ebay but not been able to narrow it down

Thanks again!

On my diesel 500 13 plate I had trouble with the battery becoming completely flat if I left it for more than 4 days and also the blue and me and stop start not working. I have used multiecuscan and turned the flashing odometer off before but when disconnecting battery when parked up for a long time to save a flat bettery I would end up with it flashing again ..now i know the battery had a 0.45 amp drain when parked up but I’ve put up with it for 40000 miles
So following typecast boys pictures/advice ?removed side panel ,unplugged blue&me and then put side cover back on.. and went for a run ..no flashing odometer straight away and stop/stop returned immediately when I returned home I checked discharge rate when parked ..zero??

Hi everyone,
Hope you all keeping well. We're pretty much on lockdown where I am and as luck would have it, my battery's completely drained from not being run for a couple of days.
Mickeychesnuts - sorry to bother again but could you elaborate on the chip within the B&M module that you spoke of that could work if replaced?
Stay safe guys
