Hey folks. Looking for some help with my stop start system.
When it’s not working, it comes up with the message stop start unavailable and I get two amber warning lights. Ones the stop start logo light, and the other is a warning triangle. Does this mean it’s not working right?
Also every time I put the car in reverse, I get the ‘stop start unavailable’ message!!! Thought this was a bit weird!!!
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

The usual response to this, is check the battery. That will be responsible for 90 percent of all Stop/Start issues. If your battery is over 2 years old or is the original and you don't do sufficient long journeys to ensure a full charge, it'll likely be finished.

How old is the vehicle/mileage?

To be honest, when we had our 500's, we just disabled the Stop/Start system. I found it an utter pain in the rear end, but hey, that's just me!
