bit of help needed.

Missus has a 500c, and wants it lowering. ive just lowered my panda 40mm with FK shocks and springs. Being that my panda has the same floor pan as the 500, i presumed that i could get the same set for her car. BUT, on FK's website, no such luck, as the springs arent specified for her model. any knowledge on wheather they would still fit hers would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Martin.

If you're fitting cheap rubbish like FK's you might as well just cut the springs, preferably while they're on the car.....

I run a set of FK coilies on my 500. FK are actually a pretty good brand, TUV approved and well liked in the US among Euro car owners. They have been on since new year, not crashy and fit well with no issues.

TUV approved simply means they're not going to snap in half and kill orphans, it doesn't actually mean they're actually a quality bit of kit.

Nonsense.

Whilst FK's aren't the best things on the market, they are also far from the worst. For the money they are a decent manufacturer.

Eibach are excellent makers though, nobody can really go wrong with them.

For the money? For the money you would be happy if they worked....

And they do. Fairly well in fact. Anyone who says otherwise probably hasn't been near them.

Of course they aren't as good as Eibachs or Spax springs (or dampers), but they also aren't cheap ebay chinese made tat of 10 year ago or anything close to that, they are in fact fantastic value for money.

Used Bilstein coilies that siezed in weeks, Spax that snapped a spring and couldn't supply a replacement so far so good for the FK.

Oh and we have direct trade accounts with all of the above.....

Thanks guys. Looked at bilsteins but wayyyyy out of my price range. Don't know what this guys problem is. But shall be looking at ebiach springs, her fiats brand new so shocks should be fine. Thanks!
