Hi all, I have been given a full set of springs and bump stops off a 2017 Abarth 595 in the hopes that they will go on my 500. Could anyone guide me as to whether they will go on my 2009 Fiat 500 1.2 Sport. I have been told that they will lower the cars ride height slightly (apparently 30mm) if someone could confirm this too as this would be the reason I want to change them. Thanks all!

Indeed they are; that's when the twist beam was modified to incorporate the integral stiffening bar.

A 2009 1.2 sport will have the earlier type beam, without the bar.

I have a new(few years old now) replacement axle but I had already bought new springs before I knew it needed replacing, so I have the new style axle and new old style springs, seems to be OK with the exception it sometimes hits the(new) bump stops with 3 people in over speed humps? I could never get an answer from IM Axle regards the compatibility or correct spring to use?
