Technical Won't start

Hi,im new to the forum.My girlfriend has a 1.1 m reg punto and she left it for 2 weeks with being busy with uni and all and it would not start when i tried it today so i changed battery for her checked oil water etc. and still no joy.Hope someone can help as im puzzled lol.thx

Yea it turns over but won't spark.Thing is it worked fine before this.

this happened to me recently, i got a new battery and it was trying to start when i started it up, all i done was got a bottle of wd40 and a hammer, sprayed the starter motor with the wd40 and gave it a whack as soon as i turned the key, it works fine now, just was abit stuck as it hadnt been used for some time.

replace the rpm sensor, sounds like its not getting the reference point on the crank pulley.

Just wondering where i will find this sensor any pictures anywhere??sorry for being a pain,don't know much about puntos though.thx
