got my subs/amp wired fine atm. I also got e type alpine 6x9s which atm are wired straight to the headunit, now I want to amp the 6x9s, will I have to have 2 sets of wiring running through the length of my car or is there an easy way out? I have a 4 channel amp running my subs but im scared if I run the 6x9s of that it'll make my subs sound quiet!? Thanks.

Yea a four channel amplifier such as the one you have would be more suited to running your speakers. Run the two front speakers and rear 6x9 using the 4 channel amplifier.

Sorry to hijack this thread a little bit but is there any difference having a 2 channel amp and bridge or a mono amp?

A mono amp will be more likely to run at a lower impedance, a bridged 2/4 channel will only normally be able to run at 4ohm.
Also a monoblock will be class D which are normally about 80% Efficiency and a 2/4 channel will be a much less efficient Class AB.

^^ Thats sweet as a nut mate im sure i posted that before. I would snap that up if your Subs are 4ohm each.
You wont get an amp on the 3 1/2" speakers unless you go for something like the Morel 3" tweeters or something.

Ok, well my coolant systems just given up on me! (radiators gone :( ) and mots coming up but once my car's running again I'll look to get that! Have no idea where im gona put the extra amp in my boot!
