Wireless card, Vista

Hi FF'ers
I need to replace a wireless card on a laptop i've just aqcuired, i've been to pc world and Curry's and they only sell dongles now apparently. I then tried Maplins which had one, but they couldnt tell me if it was compatible with Vista.

Could anyone in the know recommend a card and where to get one (with driver), please?. I know roughly what im doing, but techy stuff is new to me! Thanks

shouldnt be an issue with any modern cards and Vista
I ran a linksys N card on my Vaio under Vista

There shouldn't be any issues with Vista - do you want Wireless N though?

Thanks guys, i guess i got confused when the maplins guy steered me away from buying it as he said it might not work.

I'm pretty sure our router is 110mbps so i guess it'll be better with a card suited to that?

I don't know what wireless N is wiki makes it all seem confusing.

I'll have a search for wireless notebook adapters instead of wireless cards.
