does anyone know of a place for good cheap front wipers as the only place i can find them is my fiat dealer and thats a rip off! i live near portsmouth by the way. mail order would be good though. thanks.

Cheap is as cheap does (something like that)
You gets what you pays for. I tried some cheapo's from Makro, lasted about 3 months! BOS!

BTW don't go for those 'multi-bladed' ones if you park near any pine trees. I do at work and the needles get between the 'multi' blades making them next to useless!

What about the rear wiper? + the front set in Halfords didn't have the deflector fitted !?!

i got all mine from halfords. I got the front as a set and they've been really good so far. There is no deflector! For the rear i judt got the replacement rubber strips and cut them to length.

on my 1.8hlx the deflector is part of the wiper arm, and not the replaceable blade. Therefore i have to buy replacement blades without the deflector, otherwise i would have 2!

i replaced some bosch ones with the halfords ones. the only problem is they judder really badly above 65ish cos they dont have the deflector.....can u buy replacement deflectors??

At the moment I've got a deflector on my passenger side wiper but not driver's. However, I'm pretty sure Halfords make a set with a 23" and 18" (not sure if it is 18" but there is a set!!) which will fit the Bravo. (Comes with three different clips to attach the wiper to the arm. One of these will definitely fit) Now in the set its only the driver's side which has a deflector but if you're absolutely desperate for these, you can buy a separate passenger side wiper with a deflector too. They just don't sell them in a set. Then when you've got your wipers with deflectors, just change the blade when it wears out not the whole wiper.

I replaced the original ones with a set from Halfords (deflector on one of them) and after three months they're cr*p - won't be buying those again - as above - you get what you pay for !

First I've never been to Holland, have never been known as Maxxen and my Bravo has 20" wipers fitted, with deflectors which are hellf... Halfords own brand which do not judder, even at 85mph on the motorway..

If you want really cheap go to wilkos! £2.99 for the pair - you'll have to cut em down to size and fit them to your original arms. They work OK.
