Nipped into Focus DIY 20 min's before closing only 3 cars in the carpark (assume staffs) so the car park is completely empty anyhow i park up not too close to the doors come out and there is this complete wreck parked next to me WHY? out of all the other spaces you park next to me :mad::mad::mad:

filled with a sense of dread as to what i might find

fortunately this time there was no damage to my car :woot: (or the car would have more defects added if i could only find something worth denting)

a quick look over it..

Still had tax..

no rear arches (well unless you count ferrus oxide as a rear arch..

broken headlamp

passenger wing mirror hanging by control wires..

and More rust so much so the A plillar on the passenger side had rotted through completely

(cr@p pics mobile phone jobbies) but trust me that A pillar is not there its completely rotted right through

wonder what would happen to that if it was involved in a crash

A car parked miles away from everyone else even a wrecker is an easy target for the common car theif even if it is fairly light, probably because it will be easier to get into

I tend to find my panda is a 4 x 4 magnet would be alrite if it were a 4 x 4:D

I park miles away from anyone else, right by exits that kind of thing no one around for miles. I come back and find myself wedged between two landrovers and can't see out of any of the windows to get out! (n)

You know how bee's are attracted to yellow I think landrovers are attacted to Dry Turqoiuse ;)

Did you take a note of the reg? I am sure your locals constabulary (sp?) would take an interest?

no point they have much better things to do like man the safety camera van looking out for dangerous speeders :p

the only time they take an interest is if the tax is out of date

the cars such a state i assume it will be pulled or burnt out sometime soon

You'd be suprised - if you report it I am sure they'd act on it - especially as you have the photo proof. I think if we should all do everything we can to help get as many death traps off the road as possible!

sI used to have the opposite of this...when I had my old punto 55s which was in very good mechanical fettle (serviced every 6k, mot'd, taxed) but looked a bit of a shed. I used to get pulled at least fortnightly by the police, the drill went as follows pulled over, get told the lame ass excuse they'd come up with this time best being your being your car was leaning when you went round those corners back there.First they'd run my licence. Then the car would get run through the tax and insurance databases which would show it was legal. Then they'd test the lights and get down on their hands and knees to look at my tyres...and after half an hour of wasting my time let me go. Then when I parked up and looked at new cars (less than 2 years old) and saw them running on bald tyres down to the canvas on one passat or running with no brake lights other than third one I saw I got very annoyed considering the harrassment I used to get.
