Just wanted to know who is running 17's and what specs they have on the rims and tyres.
I'm planning on running ET 35 17x7 rims with 205/40R17 Michelin Pilot Sport 3's.
I've read of people running the Abarth 17" rims with the diamond cut petal design and they report a little rubbing in the back but those are ET 38 wheels.
I hope someone has some info because I realy would like to run the 205's. Other option would be 195/40r17 tyres but I'm afraid they will make the ride to hard.

195's are to small for a 7J wheel IMHO.
Would certain choose 205/40R17" or even 215/35R17" much better circumference wise for a Panda.

I now roll on 195/45r16 on 7 inch rims with ET 37 and they have been working fine. The 215/35r17 is to low to my liking but is the closest to the original 185/55r15 circumference if I'm correct.

Here 7Jx17 with 215/35 tires, 30 mm lower.

What Colour will those wheels have. ??

I did run 17" Abarth's for a day, but remove + sold them again. :D
I don't like the look of 17" on a Panda, to much wheel to little tire.

I think a lot of it depends on the style of the wheel. And maybe the colour of the car and wheels as well ;)
The 16" O.Z.'s I run now still look small.
I collected the wheels today and will get tires for them end of the year.
I'm now torn between General Altimax Sport and Uniroyal Rain Sport 3(both owned by Continental and both worked fine on friends Fuesta's with 125hp) as a cheaper option to Michelin Pilot Sport 3 and Continental Premium Contact 6. The Uniroyal is very good in the wet and has a rather nice looking thread patern.

Oh and I picked up the wheels this morning. All 4 brand new and boxed. Tec by ASA AS2's in 17x7 4x98 ET35. They weigh in at about 10kg a piece. At the price I got them for I had to take the colour for granted... if someone is in the mood to photoshop... :)

My choice would be: Dunlop SportMaxx RT2. ;)

Also a good choice but in the 205/40 r17 size they are pretty expensive and to close to the PremiumContacts with wich I have very good experiences under a variety of cars. Right now I also have PremiumContact in the front and they are very good in all conditions. Still might considder them cause they should be very quiet and I do like the feel of the blu response tyres under my parents Grande Punto.

Not much to go on, but create this instead. :D

Red would be better IMHO. ;)

Oh wow that's pretty good in such a short time:worship:(y)
Thanks a lot!
I actualy kind of like it. I certainly don't hate it and it does stand out as did the red wheels.
The red is not an option for me as I'm tired of them. The problem with red is that it looks different all the time depending on light. I did like them a lot in clouded conditions or at night but in sunny weather they always look to light or faded.
When I bought the Tec wheels I always kept the option of plastidipping them in the back of my mind if I wouldn't like them but so far I think I will use them as they are.
I paid 150 euro's for the 4 of them so could hardly go wrong. Absolute steal as the look very well made and finished.
