doea anyone else have a whiny clutch. I have a loud whine which is there permanently, and increases drastically when the clutch pedal is pressed.

is it a problem? is it drastic? does it need addressing right away?

any advice would be appreciated:confused:

Mine doesn't whine, so I (using all of his vast technical knowledge) would venture to suggest it's broke!

My guess would be the thrust bearing.

Cheers,

Matt.

but its not broke, cos i can still change gear, and i double declutch a lot! I was wondering if it is gonna cause any big problem down the line if i dont have the whine seen to right away.............. (i cant afford it, i just put 4 new pirellis on this weekend)

Definitely the clutch release bearing and it could whine for years or it could collapse tomorrow:eek: If you start to feel things through your foot when engaging the clutch pedal then failure is imminent!!
Get an new clutch kit fitted as soon as you are able.
