Hi, I have not got a clue about styling but I know my black 02 stilo looks naff with its 15" steels and wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction for changing to alloys...the tyres are ok and I have read you can use them on some alloys....any pics of your alloys with helpful links would be really appreciated............

the fiat claws are very popular and look great on a black one. they are 17" though.
here are mine.

Yummy yummy.....very smart dog,
methinks I will wear these tyres to the death and then upgrade with a package of alloys and tyres but will stick to 15" because I was told in halfords the steering is slightly heavier with 17".
What d ya think Dog ?

i have never had 15s benjy, i went from 16-17" on my abarth. the steering is going to be a bit heavier because the tyres are wider, but i feel the steering on mine is light enough. i would go for 17s when the time comes, they fill the arches a bit better than the 15s.

Imo, no wait 15s actually do look tiny on a Stilo. I doubt you will notice the difference in steering- the Stilo comes with huge tyres standard and will probably weigh the same as a set of 17s. There wasnt even much difference when I changed to 17s on my Punto :)

IMO the Stilo suits straight lines. Something not too fussy and without too many round edges. Like the original 5 spoke 17s' or anything similar to that.

TSW wheels always look good on Stilos as they tend to use a lot of straight edges on their designs.

Or even Alessio wheels as they are Italian designs.

Mille Miglia EV-Rs' are a nice choice for the Stilo too, you'll have to excuse that weird grey lump of metal that these one's seem to be stuck onto :D

I have a mate at work selling a set of 5 wheels,
wolfrace multi stud 17" with tyres 205/40/zr17 they are on his astra 1.6 sxi,
is there a glimpse of hope that they may fit my active?
Possibly yes, depends entirely if his Astra is a 5 or 4 stud design. iirc they come in both guises. If it is the four stud then the Astra has a PCD of 4X100 so they would fit with wobblies. What wolfrace wheels are they ?

I dont know which wolfrace they are K......I will take a photo of them today at work, he dont know nothing about them either but they are 4 bolt,
tiny bit of kerbing but nothing major and the tyres are in good nick.
He want £200 for them so them and some wobblies would save me a fortune if they would fit.

You will need some new spigot rings too, fit in the back of the alloy to centre it on the hub.

I think the offset of those alloys will be 45mm, so you will need some 5mm spacers. Otherwise they may catch on something, and look to far into the arch.
