I managed to get hold of a MCD46 for my Brava, but was wondering where it should be mounted. I see that it comes with some mounting lugs, but can anyone suggest where and how I should mount the thing?

Thanks for any advice.

The two most common mounting places are:

1. In the boot in the opposite corner to the filler cap. (No Pic)

2. Under the rear seats.

Does anyone have any comments on how to mount in the boot - that's where my wire terminates, so that's where I think I will go for rather than attempt to get into the rear seats (although that's probably a better option).

The cable is already in the boot hanging down from either the left or right hand side under the parcel shelf. Unwrap it from the Grey foam and plug the connector to your CD Changer.

Its upto you how you want to put it in. I would recommend either screwing it or bolting it in place on the far left or far right nearest to the back seat.

I had a look into my boot and can not find any wiring, there was no wiring coming from the head
unit either, just an empty connector. Under the seat option looks good but does this mean I have to cut the metal bit? All help appreciated.
Just a difference, mine is MK2 Punto
