we have this too met office says no ice for the next 5 days but gritters are out every where

my grump though is I had a little tikes sit in car for same out side my house for just 2 quid, between 6.30 and 6.55 tonight some ****er stole it:bang:

yup
its meant to be 3degree's tonight, so it wont be icy, yet i've seen gritters out and about....

maybe they should start dumping water on the road too to clean it

Air temp and road temp are two different things, also has to be driven into the road to be most effect, so might be for a night or so's time, which providing it doesn't rain is a good measure.

Not all of it, when it rains and the road is wet the road isn't completely dried by the water being picked up and sprayed on the front of the following car is it.

Decided that i'm going to scrap my Punto after it's window has been smashed because I can't afford to repair it (in addition to the corrosion on passenger footwell).

As a result your screen in constantly going white
wash it off - its fine for 4-5mins and you need to wash it again

it's gonna cost a bomb in washer fluid..... back to water i go till it freezes up

L driver in fast lane not going at the prescribed speed. Was being undertaken by all the cars in front of me. I sat behind and gave her room to pull into the appropriate lane. She didn't. Slow lane splits in two and I choose the left one and she suddenly ducks across lanes almost into the side of me. I then get mouthed at by her da who's shouting at me saying she's only a learner. I tell him in that case that it would be more appropriate for her to be in the slow lane then not being undertaken. He gives me the bird and I drive on. What a way to teach your child to drive!
