Fking sat nav wont update or be accepted by the PC reason i have just found after arrsing about with the USB driver for half an hour is the fkin USB socket has come off the PCB :bang::bang::bang::bang::bang: cue the soldering iron and a prayer



Oh well Prayer failed such small fine contacts on PCB had pulled off the track and no way to re attach even tried removing PCB "potting/sealing compound" so fine tracks

so all those with a garmin take care there was no additional support for the socket not even a dollop of glue socket takes all weight of cable when mounted on the dash......

if its also the stock one on a duel core 3ghz dont keep it at temperature

this stuff its barbed meaning it digs in alot (see pic)(its exo mesh dunno why its called that)
also tie bars got over 700 done which is not bad for me oh well only a few thousand left

Found out that my headunit only allows AUX input if you have the specific cable.
I don't like the iPod connectivity because you have to scroll through the artists on the headunit and that is no way at all easy compared to the simplistic way of using an iPod. Worth it for £6?
