No I don't think so...they did test a 75 sx against a polo 1.4 and 106 in a group test but that was for used superminis with the count before he sold fuel additives.

It was Clarkson driving a gunmetal mk1 on italian plates possibly a 60s..tbh testing my memory here would have been maybe 7 at the time.

yeah thats the one i was on about the group test.....makes me feel old that actually remember that, i can remember tg when they did the first video on the punto mk2

I'm going on about the original road test of the mk1...guess that makes me even older! Would have been about what 1992-3? The group test happened when it had been out a while cos they were looking at them as a used car.

i was about 4 i thinkif your spot on with the time frame they did the testing of the mk1....
guess i can be thankful for being younger
