What's made you grumpy today?

Post man has probably pinched it

had 2 parcels go astray recently dispite having a card shoved through the letter box saying they are at the depot :bang:

I don't think our posty looks like he'd be into womens jewellry... I could be wrong...

Grump for today - the blonde dye has only taken out some of the redness (which I guess is good), and not lightened my hair at all. It's still a dark red/brown :(
Gunna have to buy some proper colour-stripper for about £18.

Car is nearly back together from a recent HG failure, I decide to attack a bit of rust on the sump pan and find holes in it :bang:

At least it'll be changed before it's back on the road, and before the new oil went in, but I've spend enough on this car the last few months...

Wheel centre caps for the alloys on my mk1 punto:mad:
I tried to paint them to make them look newer to match the newly refurbished alloys.
But, on one of them the paint is not drying evenly, i've tried twice once, sanding back then re-prime them- comes out fine, after the first coat of paint there are 3 dots where the paint appears to be repelled:mad:

So i've search for NEW or USED replacements - 0 on Ebay
The alloys have ATP on the inside and the caps say ATP on them, i can find the alloys if i search for Fiat / Lacia alloys, 0 results if i search for ATP...

Really bugging me as the wheels on the car have the wheel bearing exposed:(

**** day at work...awkward as hell with her. Dunno what to do next...shes going on holiday next week, and then back for a few days before going to uni. Might see if she wants to go for another drink or something.

:bang: invite her round to listen to some music in your room ( its code she will expect to get some this time)

Just say like whats in your signature "With the help of you giving a gentle tug I can get it up in record time, fully erected in under a minute" See what she says to that :D

Been searching for car insurance today... and thats not even whats made me grumpy

our university recommends for Student Drivers (us who drive to campus) use Endsleigh's "Student Car Insurance" its the same as standard insurance but designed for students.. (obviously)

told them all my details and the cheapest they quoted me £2600..

so asked for a standard quote.. and that was £2000...

apparently its because i am living within 10miles of my university and they want us to catch buses or trains and work in the local area...

all been well if, there was a bus stop that goes to university within 30mins walk, a train station within 5miles (and that huddersfield anyway..) and that i didn't work in a different city!!!

So the search continues... (n)

Got an insurance quote from LV (Liverpool Victoria), the people who say hundreds of drivers move to them every month or something like that...

well my quote was £6,895..................

so i kinda hung up the moment they said that...

got a call 2minutes later say "hello this is LV calling for Mr Johnson, we lost contact with you, would you like to continue your purchase of our policy.."

No... hang up again...

I would have got angry on the phone and asked them to loose 70% of the quote.

Insurance is being a right pain in the arse now. :(

My angry for today - 92 missed calls and 14 text messages from the girlfriend after last nights antics.

Ive been getting quotes of between £900-1100 all day, then get that one!! i thought Endsleigh were bad...

92 missed calls... clingy much??

or... what did you do?

It started with waiting in until 2.pm for a contractor who didnt show up, which is also loss of income because when they say 'am appointment' I cant take a call from a client for fear that the doorbell will ring mid session ( I counsel abused women). So I cleared my dairy for the morning and waited.......

Then I find I have a headlamp bulb out and the tutorial says I need to take off the wheel and / or the bumper and cut my hands to bits and lay in the dirt and use tools and all sorts of other unpleasant stuff. Nice one Fiat:(

THEN, I realise that my neighbour has just lit the mother of all bonfires in his garden and the bedding from THREE beds is hanging on my line.

PS: My son who is 18 gets stupid car insurance quotes too, its an EXTRA £2000 to put him on MINE - getting his own is coming in at £7000 on a £700 1.2 Punto.

Oh yeah and the reason the contractor was coming was because there is an almighty crack in the brickwork down the back of my house - subsidence or something. :(
