Today I went to the funeral of a 16yo friend who took his own life. Sitting in the church, listening to all his achievements, both academic and sporting, to the stories of his family holiday exploits was just heartbreaking...such a young person, with so much ambition, charisma and potential, cut down before the prime of his life. But the thing that really got to me was when the coffin was taken from the church, the two football teams he played with formed a guard of honour, wearing their footy tops. Seeing his dad go to each and every one of the boys who had played with his son, shaking each hand, saying thankyou, with tears in his eyes, well that was the moment that it got to me.
All too often in life, we learn things the hard way. If only he could see the way that people loved and cared for him before today happened.

That is so sad. My girls are 18 and 20. If anything happened I would be devastated.
We really should keep a better watch on our teenage lads. I don mean mollycoddle them but for some reason suicide is all too common and its often out of the blue like this.

R.I.P to the lad, and all the best to his family, must be a horrible thing to go through Being told the car I was poised to buy has a strange noise from it's engine and the mechanic wants to take the head back off and fit a shim because he thinks the pistons are hitting the valves or head, at least I'm getting my deposit back and I'm off to look at another, slightly newer Punto tomorrow after work....

get a new wheel and tyre and the trim and skirt should be repairable or at least replaceable

check around the locks and door jambs for signs of breaking in
yeah i have but i cant find anything but it is dark so i will check in the morning.
Thinking about selling, this car is just bad luck.
it may be that your passenger side didnt lock for some reason

have you used that door today? is it definitely shut properly?
havnt used that door in 2 days and its been locked and unlocked a lot and i usually make sure that its locked especially on that side when i walk round to get to a path or something and yeah definitely shut properly
hmmm, have a good look at everything tomorrow for signs of breaking in and play with that door and locking and unlocking etc

Yeah i will do but i will have to jump it first because its been drained now because of the light been left on.
Thats very true im just glad i dont keep a satnav or anything in there ever and that it wasnt stolen
