What's made you grumpy today?

Mud flaps came today, holding them up to the car, i they they look smart(y)

Tv's not working so i was hoping they would could come, i was expecting them to take an hour to fit...:bang:

2 hours later, still not a single one on the car, a right pain to fit, need wheels off, need something to drill though the wheel arch:mad: i've given up for now..

front ones clamp on easy with 1 screw needed(y)
rear ones - a right pain..

my mate just got raped by a garage

cost her £580 for this

Spark Plugs and coil, service new tyre and break fluid plus charges for repair

(btw thats copied from her status)
:bang:

for expensive parts with a rough guestimate
£40 Spark Plugs and £80 coil, £100service £40 new tyre and (included in service) break fluid plus charges for repair
so 1 hour labout £40
£300
what type of tyre is it?

what car is that for? but agree Trading Standards.

for a Punto, that shouldnt be more that £250-300.

its a pug 206

i dont know about the tyre but as the status is progressing apparently they told her that plugs and coil pack was 300 pounds alone

just done a quick search.

parts work out about the same price as the Punto. coil pack costs between £70 and £100 depending on make. but is common between all Pug's. so easy to get hold of.
Bosch plugs cost £40 for the set.. so thats say £120. i cant see labour costing £180!

not unless pugs are extremely weird and require 5+ hours of labour to change a coil pack

i doubt she even needed a new one

also shouldn't plugs and possibly brake fluid be done in the service? :chin:
