The time has come to sell my bravo. I have loved owning it just want something different and quicker. 24yr old with 4 year ncb so insurance
isn't too much of a stinger.

Was looking on trader there is car for £4500 with 44k miles mine has done
51k so so prob get 3500-4k for it i reckon.

Mines a x reg 2000 1.8 hlx 51k full fiat service history new clutch
four new tyres and cambelt changed a few thousand miles ago.

Thinking of a celica maybe. Think its mk3. 96-99 2.0 or something.
Any ideas. Dont want to more than 3-5k on a car.

HGT? :)

Get a Mitsi Fto GPX 2 litre, 24 valve, v6, but make sure it's a manual. Lovely car inside and out.

If you go for the FTO, make sure its got a tracker...UK insurers wont touch you if it hasnt got one!

Oh...and they are all imports :(

Nice cars though...

(Was going to get one, but the HGT was a better deal :))

That was another car I was looking at the Fto. Heard they are not that quick
tho.

Slower than the HGT from memory, but not by much...

I will check

FTO V6 (MIV-TEC?)

BHP / rpm
180/7000
200/7500

Maximum Torque(kgf*m/rpm)
19.5/4000
20.4/5000

0-60 is 6.8's and top speed of 140mph after removing the de-limiter chip. Easy but not cheap.

Daz

FTO looks like a supercar has the performance of a mondeo.

I would have to disagree with the poor build quality, but only compared with the cars i know about...I had a Saxo VTS for about 9 months, now that was a car you could complain about the build quality!...'02 1.6 16v Clio, not the worst, but not as well put together as the HGT, Peugeot 306 - terrible...

Daz

a guy at work has an FTO, and yes they are fast he has the imported triptronic 2.0 mvitec

if memory serves me correct ALL manual FTO's are 1.8 which is the slowest engine they do.

as for insurance forget about the tracker that isnt essential ! if you join the FTO owners club they have there own insurance and give an absouloute massive discount it is only £10 to join as well u need to be 23yrs old or older with a clean licence and they will be able to quote u on insurance.

the car is stunning and is brilliant to drive and they have about 15 meets a year the owners club is great as well :)
