If she were a really pander i'd be locked up for animal cruelty.

She's seen no attention since the tempra as that mre of a big issue to us atm.

when wet damp outside it sound like the alternator belt is slipping and makes a horrible high pitch sqeal. so you have to stop to idle till it calms down and then slowly move away. cant even accelert in 2nd cause it will still happen.

link rods are going. i have seen that the rubber bushes that hold the rods tight are almost non existant so will be needing to get some more for replacement.Probably why the gear lever is so sloppy. I think Tom(formula 91) had a similar problem so will be looking for that thread for a read later.

She also needs a good wash. a hell of a load of body work doing and a damn good tune up/service ready for the winter months. I might put the skinnie teelies back on so the cinq alloys might go for a refurb at some point.

Thinking about i could spend about 2k on her easily

Enjoyed driving my birthday present as technically I only got her last Thursday for my 40th.

Battled the rush hour A13 traffic and loved every minute of it !

Oh how nice and simple :)

I should have done similar. In the Stilo its all 'installed' so to speak. In dash etc.

Might get another with similar set-up to yours though can use it in Panda's when at meets then and between the other cars in the household.

You got much use out of it yet?

Use mine loads around college. All the agric students have them. It's spot the CB antenna in the carpark :p

Finally got round to re-insuring the black Panda (he's been sitting in the car park for almost a month!) Took him out to Malvern for the day to visit friends :)

all this CB radio stuff looks fun!

do you need any special stuff or just the equipment and ability to speak the lingo?

The latter Craig. I was looking at them over summer, looked really complicated and like you needed lots of kit, but comes in only 3 basic parts;
  • CB Radio Sender/Reciever unit
  • CB antenna
  • Antenna mount which comes with cable to go into radio.
Can either wire into car like a CD player, or cigarette lighter like Kev (y)
