I am having to use my old Marbella for a week after the 205 failed the MOT on a measly handbrake issue- I don't have time to fix for now so a week with the Marbella will be fun! It's such a fun little car, extremely more manouvarable than the peugeot 205!! Extremely easy little car. I want a panda again

swapped my standard carb back on today so I can retrieve my big jets out of the one that's in to put in the cleaned up carb I'm refurbing. See how it runs with some standard 999 jets in now..

Doh, thought I'd sorted it... one piston really well stuck, got it free on Sat after test - booked back in today... only reached 31 on RRd's digital display (other side was 42) - might have got air in as I worked it free maybe? ...could be leaking now even
He said not good enough - so now ordered a wheel cylinder. Should get it tomorrow - lets hope the union will undo without twisting the pipe... This is where you wish you'd got those nice little 'injector' ring spanners...
though there's an advisary on that brakepipe anyway
I've sprayed it ready - I'd try giving it a gentle tweak but it was pissing it down a bit back.
... no... still raining - not good for working on drive, at my age at least :p

she's a willing little beast - handles well and much nippier than the 4x4!
Pandas - I just love 'em! :slayer:

finally got round to using my carb rebuild kit on my shiny clean spare carb. now safely installed with a handful of new gaskets and seals and oh my word that's made a difference. Idle's suddenly smoother than it's been in years(y)

didn't make it to the mot, got down the road then remembered i hadn't put the can of petrol in i had bought, so i went back home to get it and when i go into reverse to back into drive the clutch cable snapped, i thought i had renewed it, but now i remember it was the 750 i put the new one on :bang:

they don't do the driving on an of the ramp as i am qualified to do it, they only drive it into the brake tester and out again, i would have been ok if it went there as mrs dave goes past on her way home from work, i could have left him there an got a lift :( oh well gives me a few more play days until new cable comes to do more shining of things :)
