i dunno, i think they just posher :p

Yeah, I know they have the rear wheel arch covers which stop fattys like me getting cold back side when sitting the in back as normally end up having bare skin leaning on them :p

Come to think of it, not sure if my Selecta has that 4x4 matting as its got the rear wheel arch covers and the 'A' pillar trim that the 4x4's came with.

ah that makes more sense:idea:
had this disturbing image in my head of you as a maverick landlocked lifeguard, roaming the open road in your panda (with your trusty driver Jackie obviously - you're in the back seat) ready for action in skimpy speedos, braving the cold of the bare metal for the benefit of randomly drowning people in inland areas.

but yes, overhang would be the more obvious explanation.

bought two new wings!

Started it, drove it out of the garage, brushed off some dust and used Meguires ultimate quick detailer on it(y) Nice and shiney again:p Unbeliveble how much dust it get covered in after a month in the garage:eek: Discovered that a cat had pee`d on the bonnet:mad: Removed it with the quick detailer and a microfiber cloth, but the "infected" area had lost it`s cover of wax:(

She has had a new carb and new vac advance - She is running SOOOO smoothly now!!!

I have wired in a radio.. gives me something to listen to when I am tinkering and also wired in a cig lighter.

I have touched up the paintwork on the left wing.

And have been given bucket seats but not sure if I should fit them??!!

The panda isn't sporty, its charm is in its simplicity. No bucket seats! :D

finally got sick of the blistering lacquer on Grumbleweeds roof so it's all rubbed down and knowing I'm never likely to achieve a decent finish with spray cans on my drive it's now gone satin black. could do with a couple more coats still but I'm out of paint and time before Mitcar tomorrow so he's going as is.

:eek:oh my word. swapped the drivers seat out of grumbleweed with scruffbags so I could have a go at cleaning and de - sagging the original. the de - sag has gone well, with the aid of a couple of rubber doormats, some trusty gaffa and some spare seat foam I now have a body hugging bucket frame (well compared to before anyway) and I've just been washing the covers in the bath. Don't know who's tried that but the bath was full of opaque brown sludge through about 4 rinses:yuck:
Next (when they're dry) figure out what to do about the frayed bit at the bottom of the seat back.
