Im thinking of getting these springs but im not sure yet, i think a 40mm drop will be better than a 35mm but i didnt want a 50mm drop cos the roads round here are crap and i need to get up and down like half a curb to get onto my driveway

Also i was thinking of getting mk2b rear lights for my punto but i cant find anywhere so not sure what to do now

will they suit my car you think or just smoke my standard ones

Hi There On The Tinted Light Option Ive Got A Picture Of My Punto With Mk2B Tinted Rears Added (Email Or Look At My Pics) To Show If You Want Cant Add Links Yet As Still Under 5 Posts And Secondly Mine Also Has The God Of All Central Exhausts Attached Ill Be Adding Videos And More Pics Soon (Knew) But Ive Been Asked If Its Really A Mk2 1.2L So Cant Complain. And Finnally On The Lowering Side Not For Me Im A Bodykit Type Of Guy Sorry =(

Fit adjustable struts then you can get the ride height and level the car as you want without the horrible harsh ride.

Dont bother with a fancy backbox (they shout boy racer and the bumper has to be chopped) but you could fit an HGT cat back system for better flow.

Go for a 35mm drop, nice and comfy and not too harsh. My sporting has a 50mm drop and I dread driving it anywhere
Also i was wanting this backbox but not sure if it would even fit my car or be able to see it at all or anything, which backboxes do you guys have on your mk2 puntos and got any pics?

If you do get that backbox, youll have to mutilate the bumper to get it to fit and if you dont youll end up like me, the exhaust hitting the road every other minute (n) plus i dont think a jap style rear box would suit your car... Something subtle in my opinion :)

Backboxes are not boyracer. Boyracers have oversized scaffold pipe going through a random hole in the bumper. Edit: basiclly the link the OP posted.

Get a supersprint backbox, sutle and improves bhp ;)

I Think You Will Find Mine Is A Custom Full Cat Back System Running To A Cobra Twin Outlet Which I Then Had My Bodykit Custom Made No Other Like It The Struts Were Moved And A Filler Blank Added No Cut Out The Full Nine Yards Went Into That Not A £60 Exhaust Which You Gain 2BHP Off Cuz It A 1.2L
See It Use Have 3 Mesh Outlets, Now Two And A Custom Centre Piece. Not Just Shoved Under The Bumper Waiting Get Ripped Off.

P.s. On A Mk2 If You Have A Central Exhaust The Bumper Doesnt Have To get Chopped And You Dont Hit It Every 5 Seconds Either Mine Was Previously Under A Standard Bumper With A Boot Full Of Ice And I Never Hit It Once. So Its Totally Your Preferance.

Just smoke the rear lights, much easier than finding and fitting new rear lights (y)

although a good idea would be to try and find a left hand rear light from a european model: the reverse light is on the other side. Swap the light over and the rears will be nice and symmetrical ;)

whatever you do don't buy anything from essex racing. Tried to get some springs from them a while back and they were a complete nightmare! (n)
