the top of the range jtd come standard with 105bhp, not as fast but with much better fuel economy. There are constant threads about modded JTD's vs HGT's - pointless really. If you wanna know more do a search, last thing we need is another one of those "mine is better/bigger/longer than yours" threads
The MK2 Bravo HGT has the most BHP than any other Bravo. In standard tune faster than any Bravo.
The Bravo/a JTD105 after a remap can peak at 150BHP. However, it has alot more torque than a HGT. If it wasn't for a gear change it would be faster 0-60.
The JTD100 after a remap can peak around 170BHP. Again has bags of torque.
People say clutches go after X miles, all untrue. You can destroy a new clutch in a few days if you wanted too. If you learn to drive the car differently and apply power at the right time it'll last just as long.
why you asking if you already have the answers? The easiest way to get that much power from a diesel is to chip it, but their are reliability issues with this increased power.
"but their are reliability issues with this increased power"
there are JTD's out there which have been running over 130bhp for 30k miles on a clutch thats done 80k miles...that don't suffer from any slippage, nor have any engine issues either
