What are your fears?

What are your fears?

Theres nothing wrong with that. I know someone who's afraid of Ducks

My main Fear is weird, its an Irrational fear of "Climbing with ropes.."

I am absolutely terrified if i go absailing or rock climbing with a rope acting as a belay or harness.. most people think this is a fear of heights due to the association, yet i can happily go free-climbing and have done a hang-gliding...

The only thing I truly fear is wasps  When I was a kid I got stung in the b***ocks by one and ever since then if I see one it's flight or fight time. Can't stand the little black & yellow menaces.

I often when asked say i have no fears. Nothing particularly scares me as such, i'm willing to try almost anything, but i can be a bit of a wimp in avoiding things that may hurt myself. So i suppose of an over the top fear of injury?

You shouldn't be scared of cows. They're often massive and can easily kill you if they really want to. :p Naa Really obviously as with any animal they have to be treated with respect, but they tend to be quite inquisative, docile animals, certainly in my experience they can show a fair bit of intelligence and playfulness you wouldn't expect, especially from something often perceived to be a large slow lumbering dumb animal.

Cows are only really dangerous in Calfing season, as the protect their young... or if they are spooked and stampede..

For those who dont know the differnce between Rational & Irrational fears... (its simple)

A rational fear; is a fear that makes sense to a majority of people. things that are generally scary. or a fear of something plausible that could happen or affect you in the way you fear. Like a fear of the dark or spiders

An irrational fear; often does not make sense to most people and has no rooted fear or plausibility to it. Like a fear of trees or cups because you're afraid you'll drown in them...

...or ropes...

or... COWS

No problems with bees, I sort of like them, they're not like the vindictive, evil little b***ard wasps who's only purpose on this planet is to p*ss people off.

::ROFLMAO::

Think It links back to when I was a kid, and in the lake district. been out on a lake on a (red) dingy. when at the shore and deflating the thing, we were surrounded by bulls/cows (semi circle of cows from the water back round to the water.)

I don't remember how we got out of it, Dad probably saved the day.

A normal one and a weird one. When i was 2 i fell into a patch of nettles. Since then i have a phobia of nettles. My other one comes from a bad experience with a dentist. My teeth were treated so badly on a demonstration on how to brush, i developed a fear of toothbrushes. I can use an electric one no problem but not a manual one, it terrifies me. To me its like gripping a carpet between your teeth and pulling hard

A friend of mine has a fear of milk and teabags. Well, she's fine if the teabag is left in the cup, but if you put milk in at the same time as the teabag, she runs off wretching. I have actually seen her vomit once because of this.

I laughed so hard, I was wretching too :D

Can anyone recommend a Fiat Specialist in Scotland, preferably near the west coast? Thanks RGFiat.
