I have two cars, three brackets, none of the later without crack or deheaded, damaged.
I guess that well previously those doing oil filter change ( 1.3MJ) they did not realise how to unclip from body to remove tube assembly.
So:-
Any idea what the polymer/plastic this is? So I can glue, as well as melting a metal wire?
Other options? ( Have considered making from sheet aluminium or 3D printing.)?

Is the polymer type not moulded into the part (for recycling purposes)?

I have the same issue with the wiper covers on the scuttle panel (that were I think indicated as being ABS). I used some hotmelt (glue gun) on the premise that it will hold in place but would be removable if required...

Just the impression number from the mould, no ID. Assume that it just in the 1% for EOL directive purposes. If it ABS, will try acetone, as a solvent to weld back together. For the wiper covers, just got the soldering iron out and some weld filler rod.

Yeah, probably right re EOL. The wiper cover clip had snapped off (previously) and remained attached to the car - there was evidence that it had seen cyanoacrylate before (probably when I had the windscreen changed).
