That loose nut suggests strut top mounting may be getting worn?

Suspect in the past a spring was replaced. The hexagon in the strut stud has seen better days, so whoever put the nut back on would have struggled without an impact gun. I think the holly trinity of spanners skills on these is the clutch, rear disc and front spring.
