Technical Oil pressure too low.

I actually had a new oil and filter change done yesterday evening, and am not going to lie but after putting in some Shell Helix HX8 ECT 5W40, the car just feels so much smoother and more responsive.

When the mechanic put on the Mahle filter, and did the oil, on the first start up it came up on the dash, oil pressure too low, so he topped up a little more oil and hasn't come back yet.

This basically stopped it, or is the filter bad? Would this be a stored code only to be cleared with MultiEcuscan?

If it's a filter problem, what next steps?

After an oil change low oil pressure momentarily while the engine cranks for the first time is totally normal. It’s had all the oil drained out so needs to pump the new oil round to build pressure. He then just topped it off to get it to the right level. All sounds completely and utterly normal.

Next steps are just to drive and use your car.

New oil can make a car a bit more responsive, it'd only really be noticeable if the oil was very old and dirty though.
