So I have a 2007 fiat Bravo Dynamic. I have the voice control and blue & me. When your playing media or in voice mode the little trip computer says "voice" or whatever song you're playing. Well I had my mate in the car who was playing about with the buttons on my steering wheel trying to be funny and I kid you not, all of a sudden the trip computer froze, but even stranger was the trip computer had changed and said "2012 Opel Astr...". That was exactly what it said, it was stuck like this for about a minute. Tried to grab my phone to take a picture and it luckily flicked back to my trip computer and unfroze. Now why in gods name would my 2007 FIAT BRAVO, say 2012 Opel Astra? Has anbody else had this? Anyone know why it would even say that? It completely boggled me. My mate sat there laughing his ass off. And I was just gobsmacked.

Were you smoking anything in the car? :yum:
Anything at all? ;)

Which Bravo is this? Because I went down to the garage and I was told that the 1.9D are pretty much Opel Astra (Engines) So maybe the ECU has some Opel Astra Details on it.

I wished mate, I'm completely T-total to all drugs and Alcohol

That's sort of true. Except the Opel/Vauxhal Astra is actually a fiat engine. Not the other way around.

The only thing I can think of at all is that my last service was done at a Vauxhall garage, and maybe it has something to do with that when resetting the service dates or something, other than that I'm completely boggled. It was so strange.

Wrong way around, the 1.9 is a Fiat engine that Vauxhall use in all their cars. Fiat then got lumbered with Vauxhalls bloody awful M32 gearbox in exchange :(

Actually the gearbox is made by Getrag ( is the world's largest supplier of transmission systems for passenger cars and commercial vehicles).

Fiat and Vauxhal/GM/Opel use the m32 them because it's cheap.

How are you playing media through it? Do you have an adapter?

I do indeed. I use an iPhone 6 + and Spotify using Fiats Blue and me adapter and Apples official lightning USB cable

Okay, is this the only way of listening to music through iPhone or does an update through the Blue&Me site work too?
